I use this method all the time in Devolutions Remote Desktop Manager with CyberArk 12.2 but it was also working in 10.5 before we upgraded. Your CyberArk account must be in the Remote Desktop Users group on the PSM for this to work. Remember, this is your account that you use to access the PVWA, not the admin account that is managed by CyberArk. If you are just using ldap, enter your CyberArk creds and log in. 1 - Connect to the administrative session.Command line/console, /admin XXXXXallow desktop compositioni0Determines whether desktop composition (needed for Aero) is permitted when you log on to the remote computer. Neither the connection properties nor your credentials will be saved on this machine. 0 - Do not use the administrative session. The Use all my monitors for the remote session box will be checked automatically, but for this time only. When it connects to the PSM server, you will enter your creds again followed by your MFA prompt. For example, here is one of them: Press Win+R on your keyboard to involve the Run window and type: mstsc.exe /multimon. If you are using Radius, you will enter your CyberArk username and password to connect to the PSM. Save your work and double-click the icon. Vo623aadm01 is your CyberArk managed elevated account and myRemoteServer is the actual server you want to connect to. On the local computer, search remote desktop connection in the search box and then open it. If your PC is Windows 7 and earlier, then resorting to the next solution may be more effective to use RDP with multiple monitors. Open it with your favorite text editor and add this lineĪlternate shell:s:psm /u /a myRemoteServer /c PSM-RDP Precision wont be a problem and you will see the product of your work in the frame rate the remote computer would display. But it only can be operated on Windows 11,10, 8. so I am not sure if RDP even supports this, so if. Doing it that way enables the span feature which isn't available as an option for the RDP GUI. I have been playing around with the rdp files in notepad to no avail trying to get it to work without RDM. To do this, open rdp, enter the host name or pool name of your PSM and click Show more options, Display, Use all my monitors and then click Save As and save the configuration to your desktop. Open a command/run line and type: mstsc.exe /multimon /span fill in the RDP connection info and connect. If you create your own rdp file, you can configure dual monitors. If you modify the downloaded rdp file, it invalidates the file and will not connect to the remote host. BUT not through the connect button in the PVWA.
